There is nothing worthwhile in this book. Everything is basic common sense. And, I can't even begin to tell you how many spelling mistakes it contains. Who wrote this??? A three-year old??? It's obvious it wasn't proofread!!

This book may be helpful for a first time cruiser, but with over ten cruises I can't believe I wasted my money. All of these tips can be found online on any number of cruise review boards. Just google it.
Much of the information seems to be geared towards Carnival, mostly in regards to rules about bringing alcohol onboard. It may not apply to other cruise lines. Some of it is already out of date.
I could have written this myself, but I would do it as a one page list and save the reader the time and money. Do your own research and don't waste your money.

This book may be helpful for beginners and people who don't mind wasting some money.
Most of the info can be found online for free in a forum (found here): [...]
The book had lots of misspelled words, bad punctuation and grammar.

This book has a lot of very cool little tips and tricks for saving money and having a better experience on cruises. The ideas in this book span an extremely wide range of topics: how to save 25%-30% on shore excursions, how to get great service from your cabin steward, tips on how to make your room more comfortable, etc.
You can tell from the way this book is written that the author has been on A LOT of cruises, because the tips and advice contained in this book are very easy, practical, and realistic. The only minor nitpick I have about the book is that there are kind of a lot of typos. However, the reason I got this book was for practical, useful information, not for pretty language, so I don't really consider this a problem given the high quality of the information.
After reading this book, I'm confident that on my next cruise I'll be able to save enough money to cover the cost of this book several times over. Highly recommended for anyone who loves cruises.
