Buy itHere's a new line for Barbie's incredibly long résumé: sleuth. That's right--the gal who brings glamour to everything that she does is hot on the trail of an art thief, and she needs your help to solve the case. Join her on a tropical cruise on which she'll uncover clues, unravel the mystery, collar the crooks, and return the stolen island art to its rightful owner. As in the board game Clue, you'll find that the evidence incriminates different suspects with each new game, which keeps the mystery fresh every time that you play. Also, this adventure game is for one or two players; so, consider bringing in a friend for backup.

i bought this game a few years ago ... used to play it all the time but barely now since i'm out of the Barbie mode ... it is fun and enjoyable but i like games that you're more involved with instead of just sitting back and watching stuff happen that you can't make decisions on and be apart of ... it is fun and i would recommend it for kids who like mysteries

I sat down with my two daughters ages 5 and 3 and played this game WITH them. We had a great time with it. They loved the adventure and I helped them to understand how to look for Ken and follow the clues. Now that they have been through the game they can play it alone. Especially my 5 year old. All of the clues change for the next game. I give it a thumbs up!

My daughter is 9 and she has enjoyed all the "Detective Barbie" games in the past. We own the first 2 games for the PC and purchased this one for our Playstation. Both my daughter and my son (6 - almost 7) love solving the mysteries. I think Mattel should just "up" the age on this game. It is way too hard for a 5 year old. I agree with the other reviews on this point. In my opnion, most barbie games are good for 7 & up. (Secret Agent, Super Sports etc.)

Do I have to give it a star at all? This is by far the worst game my daughter owns. It's so difficult to play that my daughter needs my help constantly. And I find it extremely slow, and frustrating. Trust me, this game will aggravate both you AND your child. Save your money, folks.

This game is too complicated for my 7 year old. Even with my help she was frustrated. By the time she is old enough to play this game alone she will think she is too old to do anything with Barbie in the title. Save your money.
